The Internet is packed with lots of great products and services and the following is a selection which are included in my ‘must have/must use’ list:
Brad Gosse Mastermind Group: I can’t say enough about how much joining this exceptional Mastermind Group has impacted my online business efforts. Working with like minded & commited individuals will help you grow your business faster than ever. This group not only gives me access to joint venture partners, new affiliates, product reviews, mentorship and other benefits only obtained by working with your peers. It also gives me one-on-one coaching with Brad Gosse, access to a virtual assistant to do my grunt work, webinar software and premium WordPress themes. And a whole lot more……..
Hosting: I use a number of different companies for my hosting.
Hostgator.com : Hostgator is my main hosting company.
I use them because when I first started out they were the cheapest hosting company and I can host ‘unlimited’ amount of websites there. I currently have 100+ sites hosted with them and in 5 years I have only ever had 1 or 2 very short outages.
MeirHosting.net : My second company is Meir Hosting, based in the UK, but they provide hosting for some of my com and .co.uk sites. I use these guys for a few reasons. I was looking for some IP diversity on my network of websites and these guys were able to provide a small amount of unique IP’s (for Free) for some of my Niche websites. They also provide great support.
ASEOHosting.com – Maybe a little expensive compared to others but they have great support, which has to be a top priority for any hosting service. To make things a little cheaper you can also use these % discount Coupon codes:
15% OFF – Three Months Paid in Advance – Coupon Code : 15-3M
20% OFF – Six Months Paid in Advance – Coupon Code : 20-6M
25% OFF – 1 Year Paid in Advance – Coupon Code : 25-1Y
Domain Names: I use 2 companies for this too. One for .com/.org/.net/.info and another one for my .co.uk domains:
GoDaddy.com: For my .com/.org/.net/.info domains I use Go Daddy, and the main reason is that apart from their slightly irritating attempts to ‘upsell’ me at every stage of the domain purchase, they are cheap.
PLUS, here’s a Top Tip. If you ever want to buy a domain from Go Daddy, then make sure and find a Discount Code online first. Search Google for ‘Godaddy discount codes’ and you’ll get a load of websites with the most recent discount codes. You then use these special codes at the Godaddy checkout. Some codes give 20-30% off your purchase! Wahoooo!
NameCheap.com – I recently moved to Namecheap after using 1&1.co.uk for a number of years. Namecheap have excellent support and don’t charge for certain services which companies like 1&1 do. The reasons for no longer recommending 1&1 are numerous so get in touch if you want to learn why.
WordPress ‘Stuff’: When it comes to anything WordPress related I am by no means an expert. I outsource a lot of WordPress tweaks to one of my outsourcing staff. But when it comes to Themes and creating Squeeze Pages etc, I only use a few different providers for my Templates.
WooThemes.com : This website is based on the excellent Fresh News Theme, which is only one from a large collection of very powerful Woo Themes.
GetProfitsFast.com : These guys provide a super powerful program to build WordPress squeeze pages in a matter of minutes. And if you are totally strapped for cash then you can also pick up their 10 FREE Squeeze Page Templates at www.PremiumSqueezePageTemplates.com, and use a Free website design program like Nvu or Komposer to modify them. Man….. I just love quality Free stuff!
Research: If you’re looking for some super fast ways to get an idea of what your market is talking about and what keywords to use on your websites then the following selection of research tools will help enormously.
General market research
Quantast.com : Gives you great ‘demographics’ information about your target market.
Compete.com : Very similar to the above.
Niche research
Omgili.com : Forums are a great starting point for Niche Research. Very busy forums can quickly help you identify topics and areas that people are seeking help and it is these people who wil buy your product or service. With Omgili all you do is enter a term for your Niche and it will return a whole host of forums and threads on your Niche.
BigBoards.com : Another powerful forum search engine that displays its results in a much less cluttered way than Omgili.
Keyword research – Free
Google Keyword Tool : This is one of the most widely used tools online. Data is not super-accurate but it does allow you to bread down the searches into Broad, Exact and Phrase match, which is very useful for more detail keyword research.
Wordtracker – Free : Gives more detailed keyword terms than the Free Google Tool. Helps you build out your keyword list.
Wordtracker Questions : This is a little known/used tool that I believe is under used by the IM community. Put in a single ‘broad’ keyword and it provides a whole array of questions related to your Niche. The resultant quetions provide some great ideas for Articles to use on your site or for submission to article directories. I use this tool a LOT!
UberSuggest : This is another great, FREE, onlne tool that fires out keywords based on Google Suggest.
Spyfu.com : This site lets you enter in any website address and give you back a lod of information including the keywords targetted by that site. A great way to Spy on what your competitors are ranking for and a super fast way to collect keywords.
KeywordSpy.com : This sites is very similar to Spyfu.com
SEMRush.com : This sites is very similar to Spyfu.com
